Reader Basics
Navigate through the Word with ease.
Chapter Selector
Click the book title in the center of the navbar to jump to any book or chapter.
Swipe Navigation
On mobile, swipe left or right on the screen to turn pages between chapters.
Verse Interactions
Interact with individual verses to study deeper.
Menu
Right-click or tap a verse to open the menu. On mobile, a long-press (hold) also works.
Highlighting
Select 'Highlight' in the menu to save a verse to your collection.
Adding Notes
Click 'Add Note' to attach your own reflections and thoughts to any highlighted verse.
Immersive Reading
Deep dive into specific passages.
Focus Mode
Select 'Focus Mode' from the menu to view that specific verse in a beautiful, distraction-free layout.
Reading Progress
Keep track of your spiritual journey.
Auto-Progress
Chapters are automatically marked as read when you reach the end of the text.
Manual Marking
In the Quick Navigation menu, right-click or hold a chapter or book to mark it as read manually.
Personalization
Tailor the experience to your preferences.
Appearance
Adjust font size, toggle Red Letters (Words of Christ), and switch between Light and Dark modes in Settings.
Offline & Installation
Read the Word anywhere, anytime.
Installation
Click the 'Install' icon in your browser's address bar or find 'Add to Home Screen' in your mobile browser menu to get the app experience.
Offline Downloads
Once installed, click the cloud icon in the Book Navigator to save entire books. Look for the smartphone icon to see what's available offline.
